This was our second home purchase and our first realtor left much to be desired. It's good to now know what great looks like. I've been good friends with our realtor David Paulk for a long time so I always knew of the high character individual that he is. This was the first time I got to work with him in a professional capacity and he showed me how high quality of an agent he is as well.
I am a financial advisor so I am fairly in tune with the real-estate market and the interest rate environment. I have often leaned on David for his advice and guidance before making any real-estate decisions. So when we decided to sell our rental property, David and I had come up with a plan months in advance. Nothing could have prepared either one of us for how high and fast interest rates would jump up in such a short amount of time and completely change the landscape of the real-estate market practically overnight.
David expertly navigated us through the process, keeping us calm throughout, and even maintaining our property for us as we live out of state. He was able to get us a more than fair offer on our house during what is typically the slow season for selling homes. David and Ophelia kept everything running smoothly along the way to where we did not have any concerns going into closing. I cannot say enough about Heather and her team. They helped us sell our house while we were already moved and living in another state. From the pictures they took that gave our home an online presence that kept the showings coming to having a back up offer in the wings when our first deal fell through due to low ball offer when the earnest money was due they look out for our interest like we were their family! My realtor Kelly Currie and the team at Cowford were really the answer to my prayers!!! I had started the process of selling my family home that I was brought home from the hospital in which was passed down to me. I also knew i was going to want to buy again and had no ideas how that would work. I started with another company but had the worst experience and ended up just giving up on the process with them, had some major PTSD from the experience. Then one day I received a magnet in the mail with the Jags schedule on it and Kelly’s bright and shining face. I just knew it was meant to be. From the first time we spoke I knew it was the right decision to move forward with her and Cowford. She calmed my fears and was so supportive the whole way there. She was up early with me on visits to homes and rentals and up late working on offers. She really went above and beyond and I really enjoyed getting to know her as a person and my now friend! I never knew a realty company could help in such different ways. Special shout-out to Ophelia as well who was super helpful and amazing as well. This review is long overdo! I became a first-time homeowner when I closed on my home on June 27th.  Netta made the homebuying process as seamless as possible in this competitive market.  When I first met her, I did not know much about what when into buying a home. She is very knowledgeable about the area (Clay, Duval, and St. John’s counties) and the home buying process. She freely gave advice, recommendations, and answered any questions I had along the way. I am extremely grateful to have had her as my realtor and recommend her to anyone that is looking for a new home. Ophelia was extremely helpful during the closing phase and the timeline she provided was concise. I knew what to expect leading up to the closing date.  I am incredibly thankful to Netta and Ophelia for their experience, knowledge, and all-around good nature.
