Alaina Burt
REALTOR®

Alaina (she/her), a native to Jacksonville, has a deep love for this city! She grew up in the San Jose and Mandarin areas, but over the years has explored every nook and cranny Jax has hidden under her expansive wings. After graduating Bishop Kenny High School, Alaina started her career in the medical field. She worked in pharmacy, hospice, and home health intake and sales before landing in the real estate world! For her, real estate was a natural transition, as connecting with people brings her so much joy! In Alaina’s 6+ years in real estate she has had the privilege of guiding nearly 70 individuals and families through the home buying and selling process. Alaina’s core values lie in equity, diversity, equality, and inclusion. Alaina believes that everyone should be afforded the opportunity to own real estate and her goal is to deliver a safe and fair journey for all those looking to embark.

When Alaina is not selling homes, you can find her living life with her husband, Nathan, her four kids; Abigail, Adelaide, Leo, and Beatrix, and her giant standard poodle, Cricket! She enjoys hanging out with her friends and family, exploring local parks and restaurants, haunting thrift/antique shops, seeing movies, and dancing!

Favorite restaurant in Jax?

My fave restaurant is Orsay in Avondale. Nathan and I enjoy their happy hour which offers half price apps! I recommend their steak tartare, the escargot, and their creme brûlée.

What is your guilty pleasure?

I don’t feel guilty about any of my pleasures, honey.

Your absolute favorite spot in Jacksonville?

There is a magical place at the end of Fort Caroline Road called The Spanish Pond Trail. You can walk through miles of drippy oaks and knobby Cypress trees. At one point, a wooden tower stands that you can climb and see out over the St Johns River. It’s truly a sight to see; it feels otherworldly. Atop the tower, I like to imagine the indigenous Timucuans and how they lived on and interacted with that unbelievable landscape.

If you won the lottery, what would you do with your winnings?

Nathan and I have discussed this ad nauseam. We have a list of close friends and family with whom we would split the winnings once our luck strikes!!! We would want those closest to us to be rich too because honey, we don’t need their pesky jobs getting in the way of our group vacations. With our split we would set aside the money for our kids’ educational journeys, invest in real estate, buy a new personal home, travel, and hire our brother-husband, Ricky, to manage our fortune wisely.

What is your real-life superpower?

Two things: 1. I know the words to thousands of songs spanning dozens of genres. Now I am not the best singer, but you definitely want me on your team for Name That Tune, buddy.  2. I can parallel park really well; like REALLY well. It’s really impressive to witness and surprising considering I think I time travel when I cross a time zone, ya know?

What is your favorite room in a house?

My aunt, Brandon, revealed the magic of what she calls “potion rooms” in historic homes and now I, too, am obsessed with them! What is a potion room, you ask? It’s a porch-like room, typically with multi-paned windows dotting the walls. Think of Practical Magic where they mix up their potions….*swoon.*
